Loudspeaker system was much too loud and ruined a performance which also concentrated far too much on violence

Willy Russell’s hit musical Blood Brothers will have eternal acclaim due to its story of twins separated at birth and the terrible consequences of deceit.The mixture of tragedy and comedy is what makes this show special and the realistic lifestyles of the Liverpool people the poorest and the well-off is touching to the heart.

The whole cast of Scrooge put on a fabulous performance last night but it was an honour to watch Tommy Steele. I was only a small child when I saw him in Half a Sixpence for the first time & that was only on the television. To watch him live was an experience that will stay with me forwever. Fantastic!
