Although the service is no where near the speed of mcdonalds, the quality of the food always makes up for it. If you want kfc you should expect to wait, you should expect unprofessional staff and you should expect amazing food. If you remember those three things kfc will never disappoint. If kfc in southport closes due to negative reviews by customers, it will be those customers who are to blame, not kfc. It will also be those customers who will miss kfc in southport the most. They will realise after serveral trips to mcdonalds that good things come to those who wait and unfortunately mcdonalds food just isn't that good compared to kfc.

I travel around the country a lot and also abroad. The KFC in southport is one of the worst I have been to. Last night the man serving me shouted to the man behind where the food is passed through for ''two large fries'' to which he was told to go f**k himself. I was stood holding my two year old son and pointed out that it was not acceptable to use language like that in a KFC. the young men were embarrassed and one apologised (not the one that swore though). I think the staff in Southport are poorly trained and there were no managers I could see at the time. They did carry on trying to stab each other with the tongs for some strange reason.
